Don’t miss MLK Jr. Oratory finals Jan. 16

The Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP law firm is conducting its 19th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Oratory Competition at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Christ (500 Clay Street, 77002), and the finals are slated to take place from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015.

Be sure to check out the HISD website at the end of the day for full coverage of the event. Also, please note that district schools and offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Normal business operations will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 20.
