List of Identity Proofs for booking ” Parcel ” Released

Railway senior divisional commercial manager guntur, G. Sriramulu informed that railway department will make it mandatory for customers to submit a copy of identity proof while offering their packages to be booked by railways as ‘parcels’.

Following ID proofs will be accepted by the railways: Voter photo identity card, passport, PAN card, DL. student identity card with photograph issued by recognized school/college, photo identity card having serial number issued by Central/ State government. 

1. Voter Id card

2. Passport

3.  PAN

4. Student Id with photo

5. Photo Id having Serial Number

Nationalized bank pass book with photographs. Credit cards issued by Banks with laminated photographs, and Aadhaar Card. This will come in to effect from June 1, he said.
