Unlike all other growing tech companies settling in San Franciso, Uber had planned to construct its mammoth headquarters in San Francisco. The construction is targeted to start in the fall, and it is decide to make it ready at end of 2017 or at the early months of 2018. The building is planned to accommodate more than 3000 workers.

Uber currently operates in more than 200 cities in 55 countries. It is constructing in 423,000 square-feet, two building complex. It includes transportation company handpicked architecture studio shop. There are three slanted bridges which are almost completely covered with the glass. These are used to connect the two buildings, which look like glass warehouses from the outside. That means people outside the can also see almost everything inside the buildings if there are any steel beams outlining their edges.

The shops will be made available in the ground floors of both buildings to maintain a lively feel to the buildings. Though it’s transparent from the outside, Uber plans to have a bit more going on inside. Rather than having an open office, it’s decided to set up a series of small groups of workstations and shared spaces. Uber is currently operating in 55 countries. It is planning towering, two-building campus in San Francisco’s Mission Bay neighborhood. From the outside, the buildings look like glass warehouses they’re almost entirely transparent aside from a series of steel beams outlining their edges. The two buildings, one rising up 11 stories and the other six stories, are connected by three slanted bridges, also almost entirely covered in glass.
