Erdogan stops man from committing suicide off Bosporus Bridge

555 President Recep Tayyip Erdogan convinced a man to not commit suicide on Friday off of Istanbul's Bosporus Bridge. The incident took place while the presidential convoy was passing over the bridge when the man was attempting to jump off of the bridge. The man, who was informed about the president, turned away from jumping and asked to speak to President Erdogan. The man said that he is from Turkey's eastern Siirt province and has family issues causing him to fall into depression. The president ordered officials to assist the man with his medical problems, while the man thanked the president for his efforts to help.
