Hernandez was shot multiple times in a barrage of bullets from law enforcement officers Saturday morning southeast of San Antonio after leading deputies on a chase, stopping his truck and opening fire on them, Wilson County Sheriff's deputies said. Hernandez died several hours later at a San Antonio hospital.
