DC Metro Bodycam - Man With Knife Mugging Woman Dealt With

555 Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Seventh District have announced an arrest has been made in an Assault With Intent to Commit Robbery offense, which occurred in the 1900 block of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue, Southeast, on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. At approximately 9:43 am, members of the Seventh District responded to a call for a robbery. Upon arrival, the officers heard the victim's cries for help and observed the suspect standing over the victim with a knife in an alley. The suspect was apprehended on the scene. The victim was not injured. Officers on the scene were wearing body worn cameras at the time of this offense. On Wednesday, March 23, 2016, 48-year-old, Christopher Alexander Galloway,of Southeast, DC was arrested. He was charged with Assault With Intent to Commit Robbery. http://ift.tt/22WHlod
