555 From description: "This traffic stop happened after midnight on a deserted stretch of highway in a section of the state in which there have been several recent incidents involving police impersonators. In keeping with advice given by the Idaho State Police and the Idaho Falls Police Department -- and his well-established legal rights -- McIsaac requested identification from the deputy, and called 911 to request an additional officer on the scene, for his own safety. Note that at 1:30 into the encounter, McIsaac tells Denning that he is going to call to verify the identity of the armed stranger who has detained him, and the deputy replies: "You go right ahead." Four minutes later, Denning arrests McIsaac for "obstructing and delaying an officer" -- despite the fact that the driver was doing what the officer had expressly authorized him to do."
