Police Officer Dragged, Ran Over After Altercation

555 On 27 August 2016 at 1708 pm, Officer Marc Lofton conducted a traffic stop on Dooley Town Rd. The vehicle, a 2010 Pontiac G6 was operated by a w/f Jessica Fox who during the attempt to arrest physically resisted and during the altercation placed her car in drive and attempted to drive off. Officer Lofton entangled with Fox and with the drivers door open was dragged across Dooley Town Rd and then was ran over across both legs by the back left wheel. Fox fled the scene in the vehicle which was recovered on Corbin Dr. Lofton was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
