Naval troops open fire using underwater machine guns in Russia

555 Russian naval troops showed off their underwater combat skills during drills in the Kaliningrad region on Monday. The drills were centred around a staged siege by a fictitious enemy that had captured a naval base and planted mines in one of the ships. The troops had to then clear the area of explosives. Marine Special Forces have multiple roles with an obvious focus on naval deployment and anti-terrorist operations related to that area.
