NYPD Rescues Suicidal Man from George Washington Bridge

555 Elite NYPD Emergency Service Unit (ESU) and Port Authority police officers used great team tactics and effective crisis communication skills to successfully rescue a despondent man atop of the George Washington Bridge Friday morning. Emergency Service Unit 2 responded to a call of a suicidal 54-year-old man on the George Washington Bridge where detectives from the ESU were met by Port Authority Police (PAPD) who informed them that a man was climbing up the cables to the top of the westside tower.
