Dashcam Footage Shows Fatal Shooting Of Rape Suspect

555 Tulsa, OK - Dash camera footage from a Tulsa police patrol vehicle shows a rape suspect exiting his vehicle after a pursuit and approaching officers, who then shot him to death. David English, 34, of Claremore, had led police on a pursuit on Feb. 17 when they came to arrest him on outstanding warrants. He was allegedly armed with a knife as he exited the vehicle after the pursuit. Three Tulsa police officers fired their guns at English. First responders took English to a local hospital after the shooting, where he died shortly after. English had outstanding warrants for first-degree rape, rape by instrumentation, kidnapping, domestic assault and battery resulting in great bodily harm, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of a firearm after a felony conviction, according to Rogers County District Court records.
