Man smashing guy's face with beer bottle

555 Police want to question a man who smashed another man in the face with a glass bottle earlier this month at a bar in the 100 block of Avenue A. Surveillance footage of the Aug. 19 incident shows a bearded man wearing a baseball cap, a T-shirt with an American flag on his left sleeve and dark pants grab another man by the neck and break a glass bottle across his face. Police edited the video to draw the viewer's attention to the area of the crowd where the assault occurred, the post said. If this edit had not been done, the viewer could have easily missed the assault until after it was over.
