Teenager hit by pick-up truck after getting off RTA bus

555 Harrison TWP, OH - A 14-year-old who was hit by a pick-up truck August 23 after he got off an RTA bus was listed in serious condition at Dayton Children's Hospital Monday. Bryce Garnett had gotten off the bus on his way to football practice at Meadowdale High School when he reportedly darted out into traffic. He was hit by a driver who was heading west on Turner Road, and markings on the pavement shows that the truck driver tried to stop to avoid the crash.
