Footage of Handsworth hit-and-run collision

555 Police have released footage showing the moment a of three was struck by a car which then failed to stop in Birmingham, as the hunt continues for the driver. He had left a shop after attending prayers at a temple on the Soho Road. The vehicle can be seen turning into Piers Road as the victim crosses the road. He is then struck at a relatively slow speed, but is knocked to the ground. He is motionless on the ground as the vehicle turns around and drives away. The victim was taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition this afternoon
