World's longest glass-bottomed bridge WOBBLES at 218 metres high

555 The world longest glass-bottomed bridge was unveiled at the Hongyagu scenic area, Hebei province, Friday. Although the construction was designed for 3,000 visitors, only 600 people can cross the bridge at any one time. The 488-metre (1,601 ft) long bridge hangs 218 metres (715 ft) above the valley between two steep cliffs, which is roughly equal to a 66-floor building. To emphasise the suspense, the bridge wobbles as people walk along its glass panels. In order to reach the bridge, visitors need to climb up 2,000 stairs, but an elevator is already under construction to facilitate access.
