Brazilian robbery gang were foiled by off-duty cop. 1 dead.

555 A gang of armed bandit decided to attempt a robbery on a couple in the city of Areia Branca in Belford Roxo province, on Friday 23 February. Little they know that the man actually was an off-duty police officer and that he would confront them and defend his goods and his pregnant wife with some welcome bullets. One robber died on the spot.
