Russian drone shows the devastation of Syria's Homs

555 Homs is one of the oldest towns in the world, and the third city in Syria by population. Before the revolution, it was inhabited by Sunnis, Alawites, Christians, Armenians and Turkmens. It has been called the capital of Syrian revolution since 2011. Assad regime transformed it to a city of ghosts, forcing most Sunnis and Christians to flee making the city empty of its residents except for Alawites and regime supporters. According to the Syrian center for statistics, nearly 16 neighborhoods were destroyed including 40 mosques and 8 churches, apart from tens of heritage sites that were also burned and destroyed.
