Ex-Marine turned cop saves baby that was choking and turning blue

555 A Georgia cop has been praised for saving the life of a baby girl that was choking. The two-month-old's grandmother, Kianna Dorsey, was looking after the baby when she called 911 at 7.02pm on May 15, to say that the little girl was not breathing. Dorsey reported that the infant had finished her bottle appeared to be choking and was turning blue. Marietta Police Officer Nick St. Onge was the first on the scene and found Dorsey cradling her granddaughter. Dashcam footage captured the dramatic moment the cops pulled up on the street, and Onge jumped out to help. Onge, who spent nine years in the Marines and five with the police, continued his life saving efforts until Marietta Fire Department paramedics arrived and took over. The infant and her grandmother where then taken to Kennestone Hospital for further treatment. The child has since been released.
