Police release video of "senseless attack"

555 from an unprovoked attack that left two men unconscious in Auckland's CBD has been released in the hopes of finding the offenders. CCTV footage from the assault which happened on Queen St at 2:30 on the morning of May 5 was released to the public In the a mob of people can be seen knocking two men unconscious, which left one of the victims in a critical condition, near the Queen St Mecca Maxima store. Police said the two victims were walking along the street when a group of about eight men attacked them. Auckland Police have deemed the attack as "senseless and unprovoked" and are appealing to the public to help catch the offenders.
