Man Charged with Carjacking, Kidnapping Child

555 A father is breathing a huge sigh of relief. His five year old son is safe. He was abandoned after the family vehicle was carjacked. Bridgeport, Connecticut police say Javon Gaymen drove off in a Nissan Altima Thursday. A 10-year-old boy jumped out of the car to get his father and they chased the car down the street. The five year old was in the back seat. The boy was dropped off about a block away. Police say Gaymen hurt himself and was taken to the hospital. He's being held on $100,000 bond.
