Man Arrested After Pouring Urine Over Neighbor's SUV

555 Deputies responded on Aug. 22 to a report of vandalism at the 72-year-old victim's home in the 2800 block of Amber Wood Place in Thousand Oaks. The estimated total of the damage was about $2,000 and the victim told authorities he was not able to remove all the urine due to it getting into the vehicle's interior. During the investigation, deputies discovered the surveillance footage and identified Pierson as a suspect. They also found that a similar incident had reportedly occurred before but involved a large amount of urine being poured on the victim's door mat, the Ventura County Sheriff's Office reported. A search warrant was served at Pierson's home at 7:30 a.m. Thursday and evidence was found linking him to the incident, authorities said. There was also evidence indicating Pierson used methamphetamine, authorities said. Pierson was arrested and booked into Ventura County jail on suspicion of felony vandalism, misdemeanor elder abuse and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, authorities said. His bail was set at $25,000 and he is scheduled to appear in Ventura County Superior Court at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Courtroom 14.
