Deputy city marshal cleared by grand jury in fatal shooting

555 SHreveport, LA - A deputy city marshal has been cleared by a Caddo Parish Grand Jury in the fatal shooting of Bobby Wallace, according to Shreveport City Marshal Charlie Caldwell. Deputy Marshal Derrek Brown shot and killed the 41-year-old during a fight with a Shreveport police officer, August 2. Deputy Marshal Derrek Brown shot the suspect, identified as Bobby Wallace, after Wallace allegedly punched a Shreveport police officer in the city's Sunset Acres neighborhood.
