555 I was driving west and had my cruise control on when a 200 pound buck jumped in front on my car. Mercedes are designed so in the event of a severe front end collision, the engine drops out and goes under the car. My car was totaled and the deer was decapitated. I didn't have a scratch because I didn't brake. If you brake, the front end of the car lowers while decelerating, the deer gets scooped up and usually comes through the windshield.
