Bodycam Captures Rooftop Shooting of Man by Milwaukee Officers

Bodycam shows Milwaukee Police officers jumping on the roof of a building approaching Jerry Smith Jr., believing he was armed. Smith Jr., 19, was shot on a rooftop after a short chase by police. Smith survived the shooting. He was unarmed. He was holding a cellphone to call his , according to the legal team representing him. Smith survived but underwent several surgeries and will suffer permanent partial paralysis in his right leg, said Daniel Storm, a private investigator working on Smith's federal civil rights lawsuit against the city.
