Dashcam Shows Police Fatally Shoot Teenager That Opened Fire on Officers

555 Authorities have released video of a deadly officer-involved shooting of a teenager who led deputies on a chase, then opened fire on officers on Halloween. Jose Luis Centeno Jr., 17, drove past a school bus that was stopped to unload students in the 7600 block of Spring Cypress Road, according to deputies. Centeno led deputies on a chase for about 10 minutes, then tried to do a U-turn in the 14800 block of Stuebner Airline Road and drove into a ditch. Dashcam video from two patrol cars shows deputies walking up to Centeno's vehicle while shouting commands to show his hands. Centeno is seen raising a handgun and firing at deputies. Deputies return fire and hit Centeno, killing him. Centeno's weapon was determined to be a replica air gun.
