Hit and run on a patrol car

555 The Minnesota State Patrol is asking for the public's help locating a semi driver who left the scene after hitting a trooper's squad car Wednesday evening on Interstate 94 westbound at Mounds Boulevard. The trooper had his squad's emergency lights activated and was pulling up behind several crashed vehicles at about 9:25 p.m. when the semi sideswiped the trooper's squad. Fortunately, the trooper was not injured. The semi is red and has damage to the front passenger side. The semi's trailer is white. The semi was driven by a black adult male approximately 50 to 60 years old. Anyone with information, including vehicle dash cam footage, can call east metro dispatch at 651-582-1509.
