Homeless Man Stabbed to Death in Downtown Los Angeles

555 Los Angeles, CA - On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, around 8:30 p.m., Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded to the area of 9th Street, between Hope Street and Grand Avenue for a medical emergency. The victim, Fernando Perez, was transported to California Hospital where the medical team determined that Perez sustained multiple stab wounds. On November 8, 2018, Perez failed to respond to medical treatment and succumbed to his injuries. The suspect is a White male, 25-35 years old, approximately 6 feet 3 inches tall, thin build and brown hair. During the assault, the suspect was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with "Thrasher" written across the chest, jogger type pants, and black shoes with white soles.
