Thief Tries To Steal Car, Fails Miserably

555 Tulsa, OK - On November 24th, 2018 Tulsa Police Officers were dispatched to a business in the area of 3500 N Peoria Ave in reference to an attempted auto theft. The victim stated she left her vehicle running while she went inside the store. When she exited the store she noticed an unknown individual getting into the driver's seat of her vehicle. She was able to get into the back seat of the vehicle as the suspect started to drive away. The suspect struck the business and another vehicle in the parking lot as he attempted to drive away. After he crashed the victim's vehicle, he jumped out and ran away from the scene. Detectives were able to obtain video surveillance from the business that showed a white male riding his bicycle around the business several times before the attempted auto theft. The suspect is described as a white male with blonde hair, between 18-25 years old, approximately 5'06" and 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red shirt, black shorts, and white shoes. He had a goatee and tattoos on both arms and his neck.
