Ogden Police officer rescues dog from icy Erie Canal

555 This morning at about 2:00 am, Sgt Travis Gray responded to the report of a dog that had fallen through the ice on the canal. At great risk to himself, Sgt Gray rescued the dog. The dog was exhausted and hypothermic but did recover. The dog's owners have been located. We are reuniting them now.
