Initially, a version appeared that Soares got tangled in long laces and hit his head when falling, but the record shows that the mannequin became ill, he lost his orientation in space and fell flat, after which he started to shake and foam started to go out of his mouth. After about four minutes, the unconscious young man was carried on a stretcher to the locker room, and from there he was taken to the hospital, but the efforts of the doctors were in vain - Soares died. The news quickly flew around the hall, and before the fashion show of the Piet fashion house a minute of silence was announced. Colleagues of the deceased noted that before going to the podium, he looked good, but he was visibly nervous and complained of hunger: Thales was a vegetarian, and the organizers of the show did not provide suitable dishes.
