555 Last Sunday, April 21, a car was hit by a police officer - an incident occurred on the St. Petersburg - Pskov highway in the Luga district of the Leningrad Region. On the record, which captured the moment of the accident, it is clear that law enforcement officers were on the roadway near the patrol car parked on the side of the road. According to preliminary data, they were engaged in registration of the protocol for violation of traffic rules. A passing Lexus RX350 car literally took down one of the inspectors. The driver of the Lexus did not try to escape from the scene of the accident and, as reported by the media , explained that he was distracted from driving. The injured inspector suffered a broken leg and a concussion. The policeman was hospitalized.
